IT'S TIME TO RALLY!
RANCH RALLY REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
LIMITED TO 150 RIDERS ONLY!
EVENT DATE: JUNE 17TH, 2017
Back for its fourth year, we are gearing up for the Moots-Colorado Ranch Rally 2017. Limited to 150 riders we are planing for a great day of riding and raising money for the COMMUNITY AG ALLIANCE of Steamboat. This fundraiser ride is an amazing way to see the roads less traveled around Steamboat, meet some new friends and challenge yourself along the way.The event starts and finishes at Moots World Headquarters. This is a non-timed, non-competitive ride. You can ride at your own pace or that of the group around you. There are no awards other than seeing the amazing countryside around Steamboat Springs and meeting some great people along the way.
Pavement ends and the fun begins-
Now in its fourth year, the Moots Colorado Ranch Rally is a 50 mile cyclosportive held on dirt and gravel roads around Steamboat Springs. Just 5 miles of the route are on pavement. The other 45 miles feature rural dirt and gravel roads that connect area historical ranches and farms. You will pass by historic Elk Mountain Cemetery, climb up to Mystic, touch the Wolf Mountain area and descend down Deep Creek before the rolling hills of Long Gulch let you catch your breath before hitting County Road 52E (rough double track dirt road) and then finish it off with a small climb over Fly Gulch. Enjoy a stunning day on the bike on the very roads we test and develop our bikes.
Supporting local agriculture-CAA (COMMUNITY AG ALLIANCE)
Where does your food come from? Support locally grown food through the CAA and help keep these historic food producing ranches at the forefront when buying locally. The Community Agriculture Alliance (CAA) is a local, nonprofit organization located in Steamboat Springs, Colorado...the heart of the Yampa Valley.
